| Community Health Steering Committee |
The mission of the Steering Committee is to : Mobilize the community to
improve the health of its members. The Steering Committee has been charged
with: Serving as an Advisory group to the Foundation for Community Health. |
| Foundation for Community Health |
The Foundation is Designed to further the work of Evansville's hospitals to
improve the general health of the public and reduce the cost of health care by
funding innovative ideas and/or services for one year which would reduce the
life-style risk factors of smoking, obesity, lack of exercise and preventable
accidents. |

We will promote, educate, facilitate and recognize the use of continuous
improvement processes within and among the regional community's organizations
and enterprises, resulting in economic growth and improved quality of life. |
| ECHO Health Center |
ECHO Health Center is a not-for-profit agency founded for the purpose of
providing inexpensive, or free, high-quality professional health care to persons
who may require such care but are unable to afford the costs, in an atmosphere
which fosters and promotes the most positive regard for human worth and dignity. |
| IMPACT Christian Health Center |
Our mission is to minister to the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs
of the local residents in a loving, Christian environment. We are committed to
providing medical and dental care to people of all ages, regardless of their
ability to pay, as well as providing preventative health care and education. We
are also committed to local community development, racial reconciliation and
collaboration with local churches, health care providers, and social agencies to
meet the needs of the community |
| Partners in Caring |
Mission: To provide a forum for the networking of Care-Giving Agencies in
the identification of unmet needs. The group fosters a spirit of collaboration
among its member agencies. The Partners in Caring coalition strives to achieve
awareness and educate the Community on identified needs within the Community.
The coalition actively pursues previously unexplored avenues to achieve
solutions for people in need of care giving assistance within our Community. |

Tri-State Business Group on Health is a coalition of businesses established
to: promote continuous quality improvement, control costs, foster personal
accountability, educate consumers, advocate wellness, represent business's
perspective on health care. |
| United Way of SW Indiana |
Mission: to increase the organized capacity of people to care for one
another. Objectives: Expand community ownership, Strengthen the caring system,
Develop resources to meet needs, Distribute resources to meet needs. |
| Washington Avenue Health Care Center |
Washington Avenue Health Care Center is a community-based service for
comprehensive primary health care with a commitment to include the population
and areas of the Tri-State which have limited access to these services. Our
commitment is to improve the health of the community by active involvement from
the community. |
